Sarah Lyons is an experienced corporate communications executive with more than two decades of expertise in corporate brand building, crisis and reputation management, executive communications and internal communications.
Prior to her work with SKDK’s corporate and public affairs clients, Sarah was the vice president of corporate communications for AMC Networks, responsible for the company’s strategic business, industry and executive communications. In this role, Sarah was responsible for the development and execution of both proactive and reactive internal and external communications strategies in support of critical business pillars such content, creative deals, advertising sales, data, distribution, new businesses and more.
Sarah joined AMC Networks from Cablevision Systems Corporation (now Altice USA) where she oversaw communications for the company’s operations, and broadband, video, and wireless products. During her decade-long tenure she was at the forefront of numerous high-profile public relations matters, providing critical guidance and formulating press strategies on a wide variety of issues.
Prior to joining Cablevision, she held various roles at Oxygen Media, focused on business and trade media for the programming, sales, research, business development, and public affairs groups.
Sarah is a graduate of the State University of New York (SUNY) College at Oneonta and resides in the New York area with her family.
