SKDKnickerbocker’s work this year was celebrated at the Public Relations Society of America’s Los Angeles Chapter’s 2017 “PRism Awards.” The awards, which recognize “outstanding programs and materials created by public relations professionals who work in the Greater Los Angeles area,” were given in the “Video Programs | Government” category to SKDK’s work on the Nick Melvoin for School Board campaign, and in the “Public Affairs | Associations/Nonprofits/Education” category for SKDK’s work with Shatterproof.
