SKDK Adds Three New Partners

New Partners Draw on Deep Expertise in Healthcare, Crisis, Litigation, and Sports

Washington, DC – SKDK announced today that it has added three new partners who bring deep experience in health care, crisis management, litigation communications, sports and corporate advisory to the leadership ranks.

Loren Riegelhaupt, Michael Czin and Julie Andreeff Jensen are the newest senior executives at the firm to become partners, an indication of SKDK’s commitment to elevating the next generation of leaders.

In its inaugural appearance, SKDK was recognized for its work advising corporations, nonprofit organizations, philanthropies, advocacy groups, and executives facing litigation, congressional investigations, government oversight matters, regulatory scrutiny, and crisis situations.

“SKDK has stayed at the top of the field by attracting and retaining the best talent and continually innovating for the future. Loren, Michael and Julie have proven track records of delivering big wins on behalf of their clients,” said Doug Thornell, CEO of SKDK. “That experience is invaluable as we continue to evolve to meet the needs of our clients. We are very happy to call them our partners.”

Loren Riegelhaupt has over 25 years of corporate, public affairs, and crisis management experience and co-leads the firm’s healthcare practice. Loren serves as the lead strategist for clients such as Mount Sinai Health System and Montefiore Health System. He deals with prominent and complex public issues, ranging from healthcare mergers and budget debates to policy disputes and issue advocacy to full crisis events such as pandemic response, leadership transitions, government and regulatory investigations, and activist investor campaigns.

Michael Czin has worked at every level of government and campaigns, from the White House to City Hall, advising elected officials, agencies, candidates, and political parties, as well as CEOs and foundation leaders on strategic and crisis communications. He co-leads the firm’s litigation practice where he has helped organizations prepare for oversight and investigations, and navigate high-profile litigation, long-term congressional inquiries, DOJ investigations and more.

Julie Andreeff Jensen is currently the founder and CEO of Jasper Advisors, SKDK’s C-suite and sports and entertainment advisory division. She combines a passion for communications and corporate advisory helping CEO’s, sports teams, and brands tell their stories in an authentic and compelling manner. A former senior executive of the Washington Commanders, Julie also served as the first head of corporate affairs and communications at the investment firm Citadel.
