Sloane brings her experience in political communications to SKDK as a member of the Public Affairs team. As a Director, she advises nonprofit, advocacy, and corporate clients on effective communications strategies.
Before joining SKDK, Sloane spent five years working on Capitol Hill, serving on the communications team for Congressman David Trone and as the Communications Director for Congressman Donald Norcross. She also briefly worked on the January 6th Select Committee, assisting with live digital response during committee hearings.
During her time in Congress, Sloane worked closely to implement rapid responses on issues related to substance use disorder, criminal justice reform, labor rights, and national security. She served as a spokesperson, managing media relations, shaping press strategy, and overseeing Member social media channels.
Raised in Gaithersburg, Maryland, Sloane holds a degree in Public Policy with a minor in Public Communications from Syracuse University.
