Maris is a graduate of American University with her BA in Political Science and her Masters in International Peace and Conflict Resolution. Previously, she interned for Congresswoman Maxine Dexter, and she worked for the DNC during the 2024 election cycle. In her free time she enjoys running, reading, and spending quality time with friends and family.
