Jason Novak is a senior vice president in SKDK’s New York City office, where he puts his experience to work for clients that range from nonprofits to political candidates, education leaders, startups, and corporate executives. He is a seasoned communications strategist with deep experience across issue advocacy, crisis communications, politics, and thought leadership.
Before SKDK, Jason served as deputy press secretary and special assistant to Connecticut Gov. Dannel P. Malloy. He worked with key stakeholders to oversee media relations, advance the governor’s policy agenda, and manage communications across more than a dozen state agencies. He also worked on Gov. Malloy’s reelection campaign and interned for Chris Murphy’s U.S. Senate campaign.
Born in Ukraine and raised in Connecticut, Jason graduated from the University of Connecticut with a bachelor’s degree in political science.
