Liz Kenigsberg specializes in public affairs and crisis management, bringing over a decade of strategic communications and media relations experience to SKDK. Liz heads SKDK’s cybersecurity and technology practice and leads policy and crisis communications for the firm’s corporate, nonprofit, and advocacy clients.
While at SKDK, Liz has helped clients navigate cyberattacks and congressional inquiries, and played a central role in communications efforts involving Supreme Court cases and high-profile litigation. She partners with clients to prepare for and respond to both internal and external crises and reputational threats while also developing strategic public affairs campaigns. Her subject-matter expertise includes privacy and cybersecurity as well as experience working with both startups and publicly traded companies.
Liz joined SKDK after serving as Sen. Jeanne Shaheen’s press secretary, where she developed and implemented media strategies for the senator’s successful re-election. A native of California, she also worked in the Office of the First Lady and on statewide political campaigns.
She graduated with honors from the University of Southern California, majoring in journalism and political science. PR News named Liz one of the Top Women in PR in 2019. She lives in the Georgetown neighborhood of Washington, D.C.
