Ariel Sussman is a passionate storyteller, bringing years of experience in labor communications, political campaigns, and nonprofit organizations to her work with a variety of clients across SKDK. Her lifelong love of writing has translated into a talent for helping people tell their stories in an evocative and effective way that moves and influences public opinion.
Prior to joining SKDK, Ariel championed labor rights across the country, notably leading strategy for several impactful teacher union contract campaigns. Previously, Ariel served on the successful campaign to uphold a transgender nondiscrimination law in her home state of Massachusetts (“Yes on 3”).
Ariel is originally from Sudbury, Massachusetts, and has been living in New York since 2020. She graduated from the University of Connecticut (Go Huskies!) in 2018 with a degree in journalism.
