Matt Kreps is on SKDK’s political team and has extensive experience honing messaging and paid media strategy for political, nonprofit, and for-profit campaigns. His scope of work covers federal and congressional campaigns, ballot measures, independent expenditures and legislative initiatives at the national, state, and local levels.
Recent campaigns he’s contributed to include Sen. Mark Kelly’s re-election, the Climate Votes IE program, Independence USA IE, and the No on C ballot initiative. Matt has also recently worked on a large, national and state-targeted advertising effort led by a coalition of climate advocacy organizations, including Climate Power, the League of Conservation Voters, and the Environmental Defense Action Fund. Additionally, he’s achieved statewide and local legislative successes for the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids.
Matt has extensive experience producing and executing ads and advising on placement across various platforms, including TV, paid digital, radio, print and out-of-home.
Before SKDK, Matt worked on Rep. Conor Lamb’s congressional campaign in field organization. He also interned in both government and public affairs, gaining experience in issue advocacy, organization outreach, and coalition building.
A Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native, Matt earned a bachelor’s degree in political communication from the University of Pennsylvania.
