Lauren Bale is a seasoned communications strategist with more than a decade of experience working in government, politics, and broadcast news.
At SKDK, Lauren has overseen communications strategies, political advocacy work, and crisis communications guidance for corporate, political, and advocacy clients. Her current work includes advocating for immigrant rights, advancing affordable housing policies in New York City, and furthering gun violence prevention efforts in Washington.
Prior to SKDK, Lauren served in senior communications roles for Governor Kathy Hochul, Lieutenant Governor Antonio Delgado, and Mayor Bill de Blasio. She has strong ties to New York politics and the media landscape statewide.
From the COVID-19 pandemic, to the rollout of Citywide vaccine mandates, to the election of New York’s first woman governor, Lauren has successfully executed long term and short term strategic communications plans, crisis communications, and comprehensive media and digital strategies throughout pivotal moments in New York’s history.
Born and raised in New York, Lauren graduated from the University of Missouri with a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism.
