Katia Lockwood-Shabat is a public affairs associate in SKDK’s Washington, D.C., office, where she works with a variety of nonprofit, advocacy, and corporate clients.
Katia joined SKDK full-time after participating in the firm’s internship program. Before SKDK, she interned on John Hickenlooper’s Senate campaign and volunteered with several voter research initiatives leading up to the 2020 presidential election.
Originally from northern Virginia, Katia earned her bachelor’s degree in political science and psychology from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
