WASHINGTON – The Holmes Report named SKDKnickerbocker (SKDK) 2018’s North America Public Affairs Agency of the Year. The award is a welcome addition to SKDK’s 2015 and 2016 wins.
According to The Holmes Report, awarding the North America Public Affairs Agency of the Year is the “result of an exhaustive research process involving more than 150 submissions and 50 face-to-face meetings with the best firms across the United States and Canada.” Paul Holmes, founder and CEO of the Holmes Report, noted SKDK’s role in “fighting the good fight” and highlighted the firm’s work in defending the Affordable Care Act and with other great causes on behalf of women and families.
“We are honored to win this prestigious award,” said Hilary Rosen, partner in SKDK’s D.C. public affairs practice.”SKDK is uniquely equipped to handle the most challenging crises and issues, but more than that, the people who work here are passionate and are committed to achieving the best possible result for our clients. The recognition of this work is extremely humbling and we are grateful to our clients for their trust in us.”
“This is the third time that SKDK has won North America Public Affairs Agency of the Year but it never gets old,” said Jennifer Cunningham, partner in SKDK’s New York public affairs practice. “SKDK’s win is a reminder that hard work and perseverance can overcome even the staunchest opposition. And I want to thank all of the amazing people who work here for their relentless efforts to support companies, non-profits and other organizations across the country.”
Other client work in 2017 includes Under Armour, Pepsico Foundation, Google, Center for Reproductive Rights, NAACP, Planned Parenthood, American Airlines, Human Rights Campaign, AT&T, Open and Fair Skies, Disney and the Rockefeller Foundation.
