Matt Kreps

Matt Kreps is on SKDK’s political team and has extensive experience honing messaging and paid media strategy for political, nonprofit, and corporate branding campaigns. His scope of work covers federal, state, and local political campaigns, independent expenditures, ballot measures, and legislative initiatives at all levels of government. Matt has extensive experience producing and executing ads across all mediums and guiding ad buying and placement strategy across various platforms, including TV, paid digital and social, radio, print, and out-of-home.

Matt has a history of winning in tough places. In 2024, Matt contributed to Sen. Ruben Gallego’s historic victory in Arizona as well as a large independent expenditure effort electing Democrats to the House of Representatives. In the 2022 cycle, Matt spent much of his time in Arizona as an ad strategist for Sen. Mark Kelly’s re-election and for Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes, which was considered one of the closest and hardest-fought elections in the state’s history.

He has also helped manage national and statewide advertising efforts for organizations like Future Forward, the Center for American Progress IE, Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids, Climate Power, League of Conservation Voters, Environmental Defense Action Fund, and Independence USA PAC. Additionally, he’s advised on a number of corporate branding campaigns across energy, healthcare, and tech sectors.

Before SKDK, Matt worked on Rep. Conor Lamb’s congressional campaign in field organization. He’s held internships in both government and public affairs, with experience in issue advocacy, organization outreach, and coalition building.

A Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native, Matt earned a bachelor’s degree in political communication from the University of Pennsylvania.
