CR is a seasoned strategist with more than two decades of experience at the intersection of business and politics. A trusted adviser to C-suite leaders and global brands, he brings a strong record of navigating high-stakes challenges and advancing strategic initiatives across sectors.

CR joined SKDK after serving as Senior Director and Head of Federal Affairs at Uber, where he led the company’s engagement with the White House, Congress, and federal agencies. He guided Uber through major corporate milestones, oversaw all executive outreach in Washington, spearheaded the company’s first national corporate reputation campaign, and brokered a landmark partnership with the White House to provide free rides to vaccination sites during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Previously, CR co-founded a boutique public affairs consultancy and served as a principal at Mehlman Consulting, advising Fortune 500 companies and major trade associations—including Cloudflare, HP, and the Business Roundtable—on complex legislative, regulatory, and crisis matters. He also served as Deputy Director of the Technology CEO Council, counseling CEOs from Dell, IBM, Qualcomm, Oracle, and others on cybersecurity, privacy, and global trade.

CR was embedded with a fortune 100 company, headquartered in London, and was tasked with rebuilding and modernizing its global communications apparatus. He began his career in politics and government, working on two presidential campaigns and serving as Chief of Staff to two Members of Congress, ultimately running a House leadership office. 

He is a native Washingtonian and currently lives in Maryland with his wife and 3 children.
