Gabriella is a seasoned communications strategist who brings years of experience from senior roles on Capitol Hill to SKDK’s public affairs team. Passionate about bridging the gap between politics and people, she has led high-profile communications campaigns for foreign governments, congressional offices, corporations, and nonprofit organizations. Gabriella helps SKDK’s nonprofit, advocacy, and corporate clients navigate complex media landscapes, manage crises, and shape national conversations.
She was most recently communications director to Rep. Morgan McGarvey (D-KY) where she developed and executed the congressman’s first-term communications and political strategy and led rapid response efforts during national emergencies. Prior to her work on the Hill, Gabriella served as communications director at Her Bold Move, a progressive PAC that elects women to seats historically held by men. She has also worked on political campaigns abroad in the Middle East, Africa, South America, and United Kingdom.
A native of Los Angeles, Gabriella lives in Washington, D.C., with her cat, Stevie. She holds a BA in Strategic Communications from American University and two master’s degrees from Goldsmiths College, University of London.
