SKDK Congratulates Wes Moore and Glenn Ivey on their Primary Victories in Maryland

Leading political consulting firm served as strategists and ad makers to Moore and Ivey Campaigns

Washington, D.C. – SKDK, a leading Democratic communications and political consulting firm, applauds two Maryland Democratic candidates on their come-from-behind primary victories – for Governor, Wes Moore and for Maryland’s 4th Congressional district, Glenn Ivey. At the start of their campaigns, both Moore and Ivey were double digits behind and by putting together energetic, grassroots campaigns, both candidates were able to win competitive primaries. SKDK is proud to be a part of each of these campaign teams, serving as ad-makers and strategists.

“Congratulations to Wes and Glenn on running tremendous grassroots campaigns. Their come-from-behind wins show what happens when candidates are willing to campaign everywhere, a team hustles and outworks their opponents, and you have a tight message and compelling story that motivates and persuades voters,” said SKDK Partner Doug Thornell. “Wes and Glenn campaigned on the issues people care about: creating economic opportunity, improving education, safer neighborhoods, combating gun violence, and protecting a woman’s right to choose. We are proud to help tell their stories. Now it’s on to November.”

SKDK is also proud to have partnered with David Blair’s campaign for Montgomery County Executive. That race is still too close to call, but Blair also began the race double digits behind.
