Sarah Mucha

Sarah brings her expertise in politics and media to her projects at SKDK. She advises an array of clients, including advocacy organizations and financial and technology companies.

Prior to joining SKDK, she was a political reporter based in Washington, D.C. Her work has appeared in outlets such as Vanity Fair and The New Republic, among others. Previously, Sarah was a politics reporter at Axios, where she broke numerous stories in her coverage of the Biden administration and Congress. She exclusively interviewed newsmakers from Glenn Youngkin and Terry McAuliffe during the Virginia gubernatorial election to Norwegian Prime Minister Erna Stolberg and Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo. Before joining Axios, Sarah traveled the country as the embedded reporter/producer for CNN assigned to cover Joe Biden’s presidential campaign and transition to the presidency.

Sarah grew up in Antioch, Illinois, but now calls Washington, D.C. home. She holds a bachelor’s degree in International Politics from the Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University, where she graduated with honors. The proud daughter of Polish immigrants, Sarah is fluent in Polish and also speaks French and Spanish proficiently.
