Eric Marlin is an operations and people expert with previous experience in early and mid-stage organizations. His work is focused on creating a positive and equitable workplace culture, improving efficiency, and creative use of tech to solve workflow issues. At SKDK, he manages the processing and organization of all client contracts.
Most recently, Eric was the VP of Operations at the SaaS startup Truleo. During his tenure, he overhauled financial operations, ran all HR functions, and worked directly with the CEO to successfully raise $7 million in seed capital. In addition to his startup experience, he has worked as a producer and stage manager in New York, including on the Obie Award winning productions of Good Person of Szechwan at the Public Theater and A Beautiful Day in November… at City Center. Eric holds a BUILD Certification from the University of Iowa, a DEI program focused on issues of race, class, and sexuality.
In addition to his operations work, Eric is a playwright, with work previously presented at the Public Theater, the Baryshnikov Arts Center, and the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, among others. Originally from Orange County, California, he moved to the East Coast to attend Bennington College, studying political economy and theatre. He received his MFA from the Iowa Playwrights Workshop.
