Amanda Yanchury is an experienced communicator with a background in mission-driven work to shape public conversation, influence policy, and improve lives. She works with a variety of advocacy, corporate, and nonprofit clients to develop and implement successful communications strategies that reach key audiences, as well as craft comprehensive thought leadership strategies to build influence with stakeholders.
Prior to joining SKDK, Amanda served as Communications Director for Congresswoman Betty McCollum (MN-04), a senior appropriator and dean of the Minnesota congressional delegation, where she developed communications strategies to convey the impact of complex policy on people and communities. Having led communications for a state Democratic party and driving success in advocacy coalition communications, she brings both a depth of knowledge about the federal legislative process as well as a campaign mindset to her work.
Amanda holds a Master of Arts in strategic communication management from Concordia University, St. Paul, and a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Simpson College. She is originally from South St. Paul, Minnesota.
