Ajashu Thomas is a communications strategist with a background in political campaigns, government, and the nonprofit sector.
Prior to joining SKDK, Ajashu used her expertise to advise Members of Congress, local officials, and a national campaign committee. She served in local government and in the Obama Administration at the U.S. Department of Transportation.
A transportation advocate, Ajashu serves on the board of the Alexandria Transit Company (DASH). She also volunteers as a member of the board of the Alexandria Tutoring Consortium, a nonprofit dedicated to helping kids learn to read.
Ajashu earned her B.A. in International Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
