Ajashu Thomas is a communications strategist with a background in political campaigns, local and federal government, and the nonprofit sector.
At SKDK, Ajashu uses her expertise to advise corporate, nonprofit, and government clients.
Prior to joining SKDK, Ajashu worked for Members of Congress, local officials, and a national campaign committee. She previously served in the Obama Administration at the U.S. Department of Transportation.
A transportation advocate, Ajashu serves on the board of the Alexandria Transit Company (DASH). She also volunteers as a member of the advisory council of the Alexandria Tutoring Consortium, a nonprofit dedicated to helping kids learn to read.
Ajashu earned her B.A. in International Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
