Yael Velvel

Yael is a public affairs associate in SKDK’s Washington, D.C. office where she works with a variety of advocacy, nonprofit, and corporate clients.

Prior to joining SKDK, Yael worked in communications and operations for Congresswoman Ann Kirkpatrick (AZ-02). Yael also interned for the House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs, where she helped launch the Women Veterans Task Force and assisted in the passage of the Deborah Sampson Act, the most consequential legislation supporting women veterans in more than a decade.

A graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Madison, Yael is pursuing her master’s in strategic communications at the George Washington University
