Julia Sherman

Julia Sherman is an award-winning political writer, recognized for her expertise in developing compelling ad strategies that leave an impact. 

In 2020, she crafted creative TV, digital, and radio campaigns for a host of high-profile political organizations and candidates, including President Joe Biden’s presidential campaign, Rep. Sara Jacobs, Hamilton County Sheriff Charmaine McGuffey, along with influential organizations like AFL-CIO, Demand Justice, NAACP, and DCCC IE. 

In 2022, Julia’s writing played a pivotal role in Maryland Gov. Wes Moore’s historic win and Kansas Gov. Laura Kelly’s re-election. She also wrote ads for Sen. Mark Kelly and esteemed organizations such as Climate Power, Future Forward, and EMILY’s List.   

Before delving into the world of politics, Julia spent several years in Los Angeles and New York, working in film and television development with Cutler Productions at 21st Century Fox and CBS. Her transition into the political arena began with roles in Beto O’Rourke’s 2018 Senate race in Houston, Texas, followed by Cory Booker’s 2020 presidential campaign in Des Moines, Iowa.   

Above all, Julia is driven by her passion for leveraging the power of storytelling to empower candidates and voters. 

Julia earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from New York University and currently resides in Brooklyn with her husband and miniature dachshund, Hillary.
