Jackson Hengsterman

Jackson is a member of SKDK’s public affairs team, where he employs his diverse experience in public relations and politics to craft effective communication strategies for a variety of clients.

Prior to joining SKDK, Jackson spent four years working for a nonprofit in the Binghamton area, where he was the director of a jail visitation program that supported incarcerated individuals on their path to re-entry.

He also worked as an intern in the publicity department at Farrar, Straus, and Giroux. At FSG he wrote creative press material to promote books from esteemed writers such as Katherine Dunn, Elias Canetti, and Joshua Cohen.

Jackson graduated with honors from Binghamton University with a degree in English. His thesis was concerned with the contemporary relevance of stream-of-consciousness fiction. He lives in Albany.
