Jack is a seasoned public affairs professional who uses his experience working in government and on campaigns — along with his extensive contacts in the New York City and Albany press corps — to help SKDK’s clients run strategic influence campaigns, secure positive media coverage, and respond to crises. His work has included helping the city’s largest non-profit providing shelter and support for homeless families navigate the migrant crisis, leading multiple coalitions advocating for legislation in Albany, and working with major hospital systems on internal and external communications.

Prior to joining SKDK, Jack served as Deputy Communications Director for the New York Governor’s Office during the COVID-19 pandemic, where he oversaw a portfolio including the unemployment system, the state’s safe economic reopening, and New York’s vaccine rollout. Previously, Jack worked at Empire State Development, New York’s economic development agency, where he managed press on the successful effort to build a new arena for the New York Islanders at Belmont Park on Long Island. Before serving in state government, Jack was Press Secretary on NYS Attorney General Tish James’ campaign, which successfully elected the first woman of color to a statewide office in New York and worked in the State Senate and for New York City Comptroller Scott Stringer.

When Jack joined SKDK in 2021, Business Insider listed him as one of the year’s “25 top public relations hires.” Born and raised in Connecticut, Jack is a graduate of New York University, where he studied political science.
