Christyna Thompson is a dynamic communications professional with a background in strategic communications, political advocacy, and media relations.

As a Senior Associate at SKDK, Christyna works ardently to develop and implement effective communication strategies. She excels in securing media coverage for multiple clients, and her expertise extends to crafting client-facing materials to reach a wide range of audiences.

In her previous role as Deputy Press Secretary for U.S. Senator Patty Murray (D-WA), Christyna demonstrated her ability to organize impactful press conferences, interviews, and events to advance a progressive agenda. Beyond her professional endeavors, Christyna used her experience as a Community Team Associate at Impact of a Vote to successfully coordinate outreach efforts for college graduates looking to work in politics and public service. In 2020, she led efforts to help place over 2,000 minority students in entry-level roles across the United States.

A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, and a proud Bengals fan, Christyna graduated from Miami University with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science.
