As a vice president on the public affairs team, Cathryn Vaulman provides strategic communications counsel to SKDK’s corporate, advocacy, and nonprofit clients.
Before joining SKDK, Cathryn advised clients facing reputational threats, legal and regulatory actions, activist campaigns, crises, and performance challenges while working at strategic communications firms in New York and Washington, D.C. She leverages her expertise in message development, issues management, and media relations, as well as her experience across various situations and industries, in her work with clients at SKDK.
Prior to her work in communications, Cathryn also served as an assistant editor for economics and finance at Oxford University Press.
Cathryn received a bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University.
