Associates work on a wide range of fast-paced corporate, association, non-profit and issue advocacy clients. Ideal candidates are driven, self-starters with the ability to grasp complex subject matter quickly and work well within teams.
Requirements include:
- Experience placing national print and broadcast stories, and drafting press releases, media advisories, and other communications documents.
- Previous experience working on political campaigns, media, or similar organization.
- A basic understanding of social media strategies for communications campaigns.
- Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong research and writing skills, and thorough knowledge of AP Style.
- Experience managing multiple projects and the ability to handle competing deadlines.
- Ability to adapt and respond quickly to changing landscapes and to work well under pressure and deadlines.
Candidates should have one to three years of relevant experience in writing, research and media-intensive positions. Candidates with robust media relations experience are preferred.

Successful candidates are fluent in strategic communications and work well in team dynamics to support clients with some of the most pressing issues of the day. We seek dynamic individuals who are self-starters, quick-studies and have the ability to multi-task in fast-paced environments.
Requirements include:
- Previous experience working in-house at a corporate, public relations agency or an adjacent organization that requires client management.
- A track record of building media strategies and placing a wide range of national print and broadcast stories in addition to drafting op-eds, press releases, media advisories, Q&A, talking points, statements as well as other communication documents.
- Experience leading a talented and dynamic team while cultivating a collaborative atmosphere.
- Excellent writing skills and experience in crafting a variety of communications materials, including PowerPoint.
- Strong strategic instincts and ability to develop and execute against communications and strategic plans.
- Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines in tandem.
- Strong research capabilities including leveraging social listening tools and other platforms.
Candidates should have five to seven years of relevant experience in writing, strategic communications and media intensive positions. Candidates with New York City media experience are preferred.
